Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Valley of the Kings
And we have lift off!!!!
A dream come true high above Luxor 
The balloons are being readied for liftoff 
Luckily, our balloon was among the first to soar 
The sun is rising on our balloons and on the Valley of the Kings 
Floating over the ancient tombs 
Looking over Hatshepsut Temple 
The mighty kings, queens and nobles at rest 
The remains of Ramesseum temple 
Herself in Heaven!
I am not a morning person, but what an experience!
About a dozen balloons each filled with about 25 people took off in the pre-dawn light from Luxor’s West Bank – the area of Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens.
A glorious sight, a fantastic experience, a fitting tribute to the gods and goddesses of Egypt.
